GTorrentViewer is a GTK2-based viewer and editor for BitTorrent meta files. It is able to retrieve information from trackers, check files, show detailed information, and modify .torrent files without having to start downloading.
The purpose of GTorrentViewer is to give the ability to see and modify all the possible information from .torrent files without having to start downloading and the ability to see in real time the current number of seeds and peers on the torrent, so you will always know the status before start the download.

This release fixes bugs in GTorrentViewer 0.2:
- The gtv binary was named identically to the smpeg-gtv binary file.
- The files tab locked up when files were bigger than 2GB (the limit is now set to 4GB per file).
- An ugly toolbar line that appeared with some GTK window themes has been fixed.

The 0.2 release is now on the website.
This latest Torrent metainfo viewer release brings new features, bugs fixes and greatly-enhanced. Changes in this release include: The dependencies on libglade and libssl were removed. It is now possible to open torrent files with drag and drop and it shows file's pieces progress after checking the files.
